1inch, a prominent DeFi aggregator known for providing top-notch security solutions to users in the space, has recently introduced the 1inch Shield. This new solution aims to offer enhanced protection against a wide range of potential threats in collaboration with Blockaid, a leading provider of Web3 security tools.

Scam tokens have been a persistent issue in the Web3 ecosystem, causing problems for users. With the partnership between 1inch and Blockaid, these fraudulent tokens will now be easily detected and marked, allowing users to steer clear of engaging with them. The joint effort between the two companies is set to establish a new standard for security within the cryptocurrency landscape.

Sergej Kunz, the co-founder of 1inch, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that the integration of Blockaid’s innovative security solutions with 1inch’s advanced features will significantly enhance user safety and asset protection. This partnership is expected to contribute to the overall growth and mainstream adoption of DeFi by fostering a secure environment for users.

On the other hand, Ido Ben-Natan, co-founder, and CEO of Blockaid emphasized that the collaboration with 1inch marks a significant step forward in their mission to secure the Web3 ecosystem. By combining their robust security solutions with 1inch’s platform, they aim to enhance the safety of digital assets and build trust among users in the DeFi space. This joint effort is geared towards creating a more secure and accessible DeFi environment for all participants.

Blockaid acts as a shield against malicious activities in the Web3 sphere, utilizing cutting-edge data and machine learning technologies to identify and protect against potential threats. This advanced security approach allows for multiple layers of security for users, providing clear information about transactions before they are executed, instilling confidence in users.

Furthermore, the 1inch Shield addresses AML compliance risks by continuously screening blockchain addresses for any ties to illicit activities such as terrorist financing, ransomware, or human trafficking. Suspicious addresses identified during the screening process are promptly blocked to prevent any malicious dealings.

The Shield API, which integrates these security features, will gradually be incorporated into 1inch products. This API, available on the 1inch Developer Portal, offers a range of cutting-edge tools for Web3 developers to utilize in enhancing the security and integrity of their projects.

1inch, established in 2019 during a hackathon in New York City, has become a key player in the DeFi space, offering a range of secure and efficient products for users and developers. The 1inch Swap is recognized as the top DEX aggregator, facilitating cost-effective crypto swaps across multiple liquidity sources. The 1inch Wallet and Portfolio provide secure and user-friendly options for managing digital assets and tracking DeFi protocols.

Overall, the collaboration between 1inch and Blockaid signifies a significant stride towards fortifying security and trust in the DeFi ecosystem. By leveraging advanced technologies and integrating robust security solutions, the two companies are actively working towards establishing a safer and more secure environment for Web3 users.
