IRONSCALES has introduced its GPT-powered Phishing Simulation Testing solution, a new capability now offered to IRONSCALES Complete Protect customers. This advancement is a significant step in improving the ease, effectiveness, and accessibility of cybersecurity training and awareness.

According to the 2024 Data Breach Investigations Report by Verizon, researchers discovered that users take only 21 seconds to click on a phishing simulation link and just 28 seconds to submit sensitive information to simulated phishing websites. The report also revealed that more than 68% of successful breaches are a result of human error.

These findings underscore the urgent need for more relevant and realistic training and testing in cybersecurity. Despite this need, creating personalized phishing simulation campaigns has been time-consuming and challenging, especially on a large scale. A recent survey of cybersecurity leaders revealed that 59% of teams are understaffed.

The new GPT-powered training by IRONSCALES is designed to address these challenges by utilizing advanced AI technology to automate and optimize the process. This not only saves time for security teams but also provides comprehensive training for employees, enabling them to identify and respond to sophisticated phishing and business email compromise (BEC) attempts.

CISO Elliot Franklin from Fortitude Re praised the new GPT-powered training feature, noting how it has revolutionized their approach to cybersecurity training. The tool challenges users with realistic scenarios, enhancing their vigilance and awareness. Franklin highlighted the seamless deployment of phishing simulation testing, which saves valuable time for the team while improving employees’ knowledge and overall awareness within the organization.

The GPT-powered training utilizes PhishLLM, a proprietary large language model developed by IRONSCALES and trained on vast amounts of data points sourced from the company’s user community. This technology enables the creation of highly personalized spear-phishing simulation campaigns at a rapid pace and large scale.

Key features of the new training include the ability to generate up to 2,000 spear phishing email simulations in just one hour, a variety of templates for realistic simulations, and a streamlined campaign setup process for security teams.

This launch is the latest in a series of GPT-powered innovations from IRONSCALES, following the success of Themis Copilot for Outlook in July 2023. These advancements in generative AI capabilities demonstrate IRONSCALES’ commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions in enterprise email security.

CEO Eyal Benishti emphasized IRONSCALES’ dedication to continuous innovation in cybersecurity with the release of the GPT-powered Phishing Simulation Testing solution. By empowering organizations to stay ahead of cyber threats and enhance security awareness, these tools aim to transform employees into security assets rather than liabilities in the fight against cyberattacks.

In conclusion, IRONSCALES’ GPT-powered Phishing Simulation Testing solution represents a significant milestone in advancing cybersecurity training and awareness, with the potential to revolutionize how organizations approach phishing prevention and employee education in the face of evolving cyber threats.
