With his wealth of experience garnered during his tenure at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he played a pivotal role in business development for top-tier venture capitalists and startups, as well as in establishing AWS’s global cybersecurity business practice for startups, Leiferman is poised to lead Vintage’s Value+ platform to new heights.

The Value+ platform serves as a crucial component of Vintage’s overarching strategy to enhance and add value to the venture ecosystem. By leveraging Vintage’s extensive network, which includes over 4,000 venture funds and more than 25,000 startups, the platform aims to connect venture-backed technology startups with corporations in need of digital transformation support. The platform’s impact is evident through its facilitation of over 280 purchase orders and paid proofs of concept for startups from global corporations, resulting in over $200 million in business transactions.

In his new role, Ilan Leiferman will be taking over from Orit Shilo, who has played a significant role in Vintage’s success over the past three years but will now be relocating abroad. Abe Finkelstein, Co-Managing Partner of Vintage, expressed his excitement about the leadership transition, highlighting the importance of Value+ in Vintage’s strategy and stating that Leiferman’s expertise will enhance their focus on connecting startups with corporates and utilizing Gen-AI to introduce new free services for funds and startups globally.

Leiferman’s background at AWS, particularly his experience in developing business opportunities for leading VCs and startups, showcases his ability to drive innovation and growth within the venture ecosystem. His strategic vision for integrating advanced technologies like Gen-AI will undoubtedly expand the capabilities of the Value+ platform, ensuring that it remains a valuable resource for startups and corporations alike as they navigate their digital transformation journeys.

Vintage Investment Partners, known for its distinguished global venture platform encompassing Secondary Funds, Growth-Stage Funds, and Fund-of-Funds, manages assets totaling $4 billion across 15 active funds. The firm’s investments in leading venture funds and mid-to-late-stage startups position it as a key player in the technology sector, driving innovation and growth.

As Orit Shilo moves on from her role at Vintage, the firm acknowledges her contributions and wishes her success in future endeavors. Her leadership has been pivotal in the development and success of the Value+ platform, setting a solid foundation for Leiferman to build upon.

Looking ahead, Leiferman’s appointment signals a new chapter of growth and innovation for Vintage Investment Partners. The focus on leveraging Gen-AI and enhancing the platform’s services underscores Vintage’s commitment to technological advancement and providing unparalleled value to its stakeholders. With Leiferman at the helm, the Value+ platform is poised for further success in facilitating impactful connections between startups and corporations in need of digital transformation support.
