Kyndryl, the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, in partnership with Microsoft, has launched a new suite of services aimed at enhancing cyber resilience for businesses globally. This collaboration between Kyndryl and Microsoft builds upon their successful partnership and offers differentiated, scalable security and resiliency services. The new services are integrated into Kyndryl Bridge, an industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI)-powered digital business platform. By combining Kyndryl’s services expertise with Microsoft’s security technologies, businesses now have access to a comprehensive approach to defending their operations from threats and attacks.

The need for enhanced cyber resilience is critical, especially as cyberattacks continue to be a top concern for business leaders. In response to this growing concern, Kyndryl and Microsoft have developed services that address a range of cyber resilience needs, from compliance to secure IT infrastructure. Michelle Weston, Vice President of Security & Resiliency at Kyndryl, emphasized the importance of providing robust security capabilities to enable customers to thrive in a digitally evolving landscape.

Ricardo Davila, Senior Director at Kyndryl, Microsoft, highlighted the significance of leveraging Microsoft’s security technologies and Kyndryl’s expertise to help businesses protect their critical assets and operate with confidence. The partnership between the two companies reinforces their shared commitment to combat cyber threats and drive digital transformation across various industries.

One of the key offerings from Kyndryl is enhanced risk and compliance readiness. Through services integrated with Microsoft Purview, Kyndryl assists customers in managing compliance across multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments. A global team of security experts provides assessments and advises on policies and operational procedures to mitigate compliance risks effectively. Additionally, customers can migrate existing Microsoft Sentinel SIEM solutions swiftly to enhance security operations center capabilities and reduce onboarding time.

Another essential service provided by Kyndryl is Identity and Access Management (IAM) to protect identities and control access effectively. By employing Zero Trust principles, Kyndryl’s services with Microsoft Entra offer improved security and a better user experience through simplified user authentication and identity governance. These services ensure secure access to organizational resources.

Moreover, Kyndryl’s XDR capabilities enable businesses to detect and respond to threats effectively across complex IT architectures with remote endpoints. Leveraging Microsoft Defender, XDR services provide threat prevention, detection, and response mechanisms against sophisticated attacks on customer assets, including email, identity, Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, cloud infrastructure, and data.

As part of the partnership, Kyndryl joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), an ecosystem of independent software vendors and managed security service providers integrated with Microsoft Security technology to defend mutual customers against increasing cyber threats. Through this collaboration, Kyndryl and Microsoft demonstrate their commitment to enhancing cybersecurity measures and supporting digital transformation efforts across industries.
