Law enforcement agencies across the globe have successfully seized control of 27 of the most popular web platforms used to launch distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks in a recent crackdown.
The international operation, dubbed PowerOFF, is still ongoing and has been coordinated by Europol, involving 15 countries. This operation specifically targeted various levels of operatives involved in cybercriminal activities, leading to the arrest of three administrators in France and Germany.
