Spectral Capital Corporation, a pioneer in the quantum technology platform, recently filed a crucial patent in quantum cybersecurity, further solidifying its position in the industry. With the rising threat of quantum computing and its potential to compromise RSA encryption, the foundation of global data security, Spectral’s innovative solution aims to ensure the security of data even in the quantum era.

Chairman of Spectral, Sean Michael Brehm, shared his insights on the development, highlighting the significant risk that quantum technology poses to cybersecurity. “Quantum computing elevates cybersecurity risks to an entirely new level. With its potential to break RSA encryption—the foundation of global data security—quantum technology presents an unprecedented threat. In response, our team has developed a solution to ensure RSA encryption remains secure, even in the quantum era,” stated Brehm.

The recent patent application around protecting RSA encryption from quantum hacking is deemed one of the most essential innovations acquired during the Vogon Cloud acquisition. This move is strategic, considering the estimated growth of the global RSA encryption market within the broader “hardware encryption” category. Reports suggest that the RSA segment represents around 50% of the hardware encryption market, which is projected to reach approximately $1.2 trillion by 2031.

Jenifer Osterwalder, the Chief Executive Officer of Spectral, expressed pride in contributing to the protection of the RSA encryption market. She emphasized the importance of embracing new encryption technologies while also safeguarding existing solutions like Spectral’s distributed quantum ledger database technology.

Spectral is actively working towards meeting the growing demand for hybrid computing systems that merge classical computing technologies with emerging quantum computing technologies. The company holds a portfolio of patents and trade secrets aimed at supporting this transition. Additionally, Spectral has ambitious plans to establish one of the most extensive intellectual property portfolios in the industry, with a goal of filing for more than 500 patents by the end of 2025.

About Spectral Capital, it is a quantum technology platform company that specializes in sustainable green cloud computing, quantum databases, and advanced quantum chip technology. The company’s innovative offerings, such as the Vogon Cloud and Vogon DQLDB, cater to various industries including telecommunications, AI, and green technology.

As Spectral continues to make strides in the quantum technology landscape, it remains committed to driving innovation and securing data in the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape. With a forward-looking approach, the company aims to stay ahead of the curve and lead the way in quantum technology advancements.
