The iStorage diskAshur PRO3 is making waves in the world of secure storage drives, setting itself apart from the competition with its robust security features. This high-speed, hardware-encrypted SSD offers a level of protection that is hard to find in other drives on the market.

One of the key highlights of the diskAshur PRO3 is its use of AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption, ensuring that all data on the drive is always encrypted. This hardware-based encryption is a step above software encryption, providing an extra layer of security for your sensitive information. In addition, the drive is certified to the FIPS 140-3 Level 3 standard, making it compliant with a variety of data regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and TAA.

To further enhance security, the diskAshur PRO3 features a wear-resistant, backlit alphanumeric keypad for entering a secure passcode. This keypad prevents attackers from using wear patterns to guess the code, adding an extra level of protection for your data. In the event of a brute-force attack, the drive has built-in countermeasures that lock out users after 10 consecutive incorrect attempts. Only someone with the admin passcode can access the data, and if the admin passcode is entered incorrectly 10 times, the drive securely wipes the data.

Users also have the option to set up a self-destruct passcode for added security. This passcode wipes the encryption key, all PINs, and the data itself, ensuring that nothing is recoverable in the event of a security breach. The drive is entirely self-contained, eliminating the need for special software installation on host devices. It is compatible with a wide range of systems, including Windows, macOS, iPadOS, Linux, Android, ChromeOS, and various other devices like computers, DVRs, medical equipment, printers, scanners, and CCTV systems.

In terms of physical security, the diskAshur PRO3 is built to withstand tampering attempts. Accessing the internal components requires breaking the enclosure, and even then, every internal component is encased in layers of epoxy resin, making it virtually impossible to access the drive’s internals without causing irreparable damage. The drive is also sealed against the elements, rated IP56 for dust and water resistance, ensuring that it can withstand harsh environmental conditions.

Despite not being a speed demon, the diskAshur PRO3 offers respectable read and write speeds of around 440MB/s. While speed may not be its primary feature, the drive prioritizes security and reliability above all else. Users can rest assured that their data will remain safe and protected on this ultra-secure storage solution.

In conclusion, the iStorage diskAshur PRO3 is a standout choice for users who prioritize security above all else. With its advanced encryption features, brute-force protection, physical tamper resistance, and durable design, this SSD offers peace of mind for those looking to keep their data safe from hackers and external threats. Whether you’re a professional handling sensitive information or a casual user who values privacy, the diskAshur PRO3 is a top contender in the realm of secure storage drives.
