The tragic incident that befell 26-year-old Razeeda and her family has left the community in shock. The family of four, including Razeeda, her husband, and their two young sons, were rudely awakened by a police raid on their home at 6 am one morning. The police claimed they were there to “question” Imran, Razeeda’s husband, in connection with a cybercrime case. Imran, a daily-wage laborer, has been adamantly declared innocent by his family.

The chaos and commotion caused by the police raid prompted neighbors and relatives to gather at the scene and accompany the family to the Naogaon police station to lodge a complaint against the officers involved. Despite their efforts, no FIR (First Information Report) was filed at that time, leaving the family feeling helpless and defeated.

In a desperate attempt to seek justice for their loss, the family took matters into their own hands by taking their deceased child’s body to the residence of Alwar Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sanjeev Nain on the evening of March 2nd. This bold move finally compelled the police to register a case, leading to the filing of an FIR at the Naogaon police station.

The FIR, which holds constables Girdhari and Jagveer, as well as unnamed police personnel, accountable under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) section 103(1) for the alleged murder, marks a pivotal moment in the pursuit of justice for the grieving family. Following the filing of the FIR, five police personnel, including constables Girdhari and Jagveer, were ordered by the Alwar SP to be sent to Police Line, Alwar headquarters, while the former SHO of Naogaon police station awaits reassignment.

In the aftermath of the infant’s tragic passing, a postmortem examination was conducted, and the body was laid to rest in a nearby cemetery. The principal medical officer and head of Forensic Science Laboratory in Alwar, Sunil Chauhan, emphasized the importance of waiting for the postmortem report to gain clarity on the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.

The unfolding events following the devastating loss experienced by Razeeda and her family serve as a stark reminder of the need for accountability and justice within the law enforcement system. As the community rallies behind the grieving family in their quest for answers and closure, the spotlight remains firmly fixed on the authorities to ensure a thorough investigation and due process in seeking justice for the innocent life lost.
