Action1 has recently unveiled its latest release, along with the introduction of a new guiding concept for its business. The latest feature update focuses on empowering customers to streamline their patching efforts, ensuring precision and reliability. This update also marks the introduction of the Action1 concept, ‘Patching That Just Works,’ aiming to provide a benchmark patch management solution strongly aligned with user needs.

The ‘Patching That Just Works’ concept is a reflection of Action1’s ongoing operational philosophy, which prioritizes user feedback in product development and maintaining a commitment to continuously measure and ensure strong product performance. As part of this commitment, Action1 has consistently delivered quarterly platform updates, each incorporating significant features based on the input from its extensive customer base.

In addition to the latest feature update, the company has introduced advanced internal metrics and workflows to ensure the success rate of patch deployment for its customers. This has resulted in a consistent 99% patch success rate for Action1 users, effectively remedying vulnerabilities on managed endpoints and minimizing disruptions to business processes.

CEO of Action1, Alex Vovk, emphasized the company’s ‘power-focus’ on patch management, distinguishing it from other vendors who take a more superficial approach to patching. The latest features include direct access to audit trails, an optimized single reboot process, dynamic endpoint group enhancements for further automation, integration with Okta for single sign-on (SSO), improved single reboot efficiency, and more. These enhancements empower enterprises to automate patching for both Windows and third-party applications, while enhancing accountability and security.

One satisfied customer, Timothy Shuart, Director of Information Technology at Hesston College, expressed his appreciation for the direct access to the audit trail, which enhances their accountability and empowers them to continually improve their patching workflows. He also commended Action1 for their responsiveness in implementing requested features that are truly necessary and impactful for their organization.

Looking ahead, Action1 plans to introduce further enhancements to its platform as part of its primary product updates later this year. These improvements will include zero-knowledge architecture, a Mac agent, an expanded selection of applications in the Action1 software repository, and others.

Overall, the latest release and introduction of the ‘Patching That Just Works’ concept signifies Action1’s commitment to providing a robust and user-centric patch management solution, driven by customer feedback and continuous innovation. With a strong emphasis on precision, reliability, and security, Action1 aims to set a benchmark in the patch management space, marking a significant stride in empowering enterprises to effectively manage and secure their endpoints.
