Adarma, a leading cybersecurity company, has recently appointed James Todd as its Chief Technology Officer. This strategic move reinforces Adarma’s commitment to improving security operations outcomes for enterprise and upper mid-market organizations. The appointment of James Todd comes after Adarma’s investments in talent, its SOCKET Threat Management Platform, and in expanding its service offerings.

James Todd brings over 20 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity to his new role at Adarma. He previously served as Director in the cybersecurity practice at KPMG, where he focused on security operations and cyber defense. During his time at KPMG, James worked with large organizations, helping them develop innovative solutions to securely adopt emerging technologies as part of their digital transformation journeys. His deep understanding of the balance between technological advancement and security imperatives has made him a trusted advisor to clients in both the public and private sectors.

Before joining KPMG, James served as the Chief Technology Officer for BT Security globally. In this role, he played a crucial part in developing BT’s strategic client-facing cyber defense platform, including Managed Detection and Response. James was also responsible for identifying and adopting new and emerging technologies for BT’s cybersecurity portfolio. Throughout his career, James has consistently focused on driving measurable outcomes for his clients by implementing strategic capabilities for cyber defense.

At Adarma, James is expected to take the company’s security operations to the next level. John Maynard, CEO at Adarma, expressed his excitement about James joining the team, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome James as a passionate Cyber Defender to the Adarma team. His extensive background in cybersecurity aligns seamlessly with our mission to empower organizations in their journey to mature security operations.”

James Todd himself is honored to join Adarma, stating, “I am honored to join Adarma at this exciting stage. Adarma has a well-established reputation for delivering exceptional value to its clients focused on detection and response services.” He looks forward to working with the talented team at Adarma and contributing to the ongoing evolution of the Adarma SOCKET Threat Management Platform.

Adarma’s commitment to attracting and nurturing talent, as well as investing in platform and product development, sets it apart as a leader in the UK security operations industry. The appointment of a globally recognized CTO is a testament to Adarma’s dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions and support to organizations looking to mature their security operations.

In addition to James Todd’s appointment, Adarma has recently entered into a strategic partnership with Scottish Enterprise to accelerate its research and development efforts. This investment has allowed Adarma to further enhance its SOCKET Threat Management Platform, release its Managed Detection and Response service rooted in Microsoft XDR technology, and improve its Digital Forensics and Incident Response capabilities. Adarma has also introduced groundbreaking services in Exposure Management, including Attack Path Mapping and Attack Path Reduction.

Overall, Adarma’s recent appointment of James Todd as CTO, along with its investments in talent and technology, solidifies its position as an industry leader in security operations. With their continued focus on innovation and delivering exceptional value to clients, Adarma is well-positioned to address the dynamic security challenges faced by today’s enterprise organizations.
