AIS, a prominent digital service provider, has taken a significant step in the fight against cybercrime by announcing that its AIS Secure Net service has successfully blocked over 500 million dangerous websites since its launch in June 2019. This move comes as a response to the rising threat of cyberattacks and the need to protect users from various online hazards.

The AIS Secure Net service, which is now being offered free of charge to all AIS mobile and home internet customers, has proven to be effective in safeguarding users against a wide range of cyber threats. Without the need for additional app installations, the service has been able to detect an average of 240,000 threats daily, including malware, phishing websites, and viruses.

The alarming prevalence of these dangers highlights the growing complexity and sophistication of cyberattacks, making it essential for digital service providers like AIS to prioritize online security. According to Saichon Submakudom, Head of Public Relations and Business Relations at AIS, the company is fully committed to enhancing the digital resilience of its customers.

“In light of the increasing severity of cybercrime in Thai society, we are committed to strengthening the digital resilience of our customers,” stated Saichon Submakudom. He added, “Our ‘AIS Warm Heart Cyber’ initiative, coupled with the AIS Secure Net service, aims to protect users from online threats and enhance their digital literacy.”

By offering the AIS Secure Net service for free and continuing to invest in initiatives like ‘AIS Warm Heart Cyber,’ AIS is making a clear statement about its dedication to online safety. With cybercrime posing a significant threat to individuals and businesses alike, taking proactive measures to protect against potential risks is more important than ever.

The success of the AIS Secure Net service in blocking over 500 million dangerous websites is a testament to the effectiveness of these efforts. By leveraging advanced technology and investing in cybersecurity measures, AIS is empowering its customers to navigate the digital landscape with confidence and peace of mind.

As cyber threats continue to evolve and become more sophisticated, it is crucial for companies like AIS to stay ahead of the curve and adapt their security measures accordingly. By offering cutting-edge solutions like the AIS Secure Net service, AIS is playing a crucial role in safeguarding the online experience for its customers and helping to build a safer digital environment for all.
