These ads are skillfully crafted to promote Safari as the preferred browser for iPhone users while also taking a dig at Google’s Chrome browser. The reason behind this strategic move by Apple is Google’s recent acknowledgment of data collection from Chrome users, which has raised concerns about privacy among users.

The ad campaign by Apple is aimed at users who prioritize data security and privacy, suggesting that switching to Safari could address their concerns. The campaign also highlights improvements made to Safari, such as fixing the kids’ screen time bug. While some view Apple’s promotional tactics as innovative, others have criticized the approach for being unfair towards competitors like Google.

Earlier this year, Google Chrome came under fire for allegedly collecting data even when users were in incognito mode, including cookies, search history, and location details. This controversy reignited the ongoing debates surrounding tech companies’ practices of collecting user data, with or without their consent.
