ISACA, a globally renowned professional association for IT governance, risk management, and cybersecurity certifications, recently announced a strategic partnership with Aston University’s Cyber Security Innovation (CSI) Centre. The collaboration aims to equip the next generation of professionals with internationally recognized cybersecurity qualifications.
Aston Business School, boasting prestigious accreditations from AMBA, AACSB, and EQUIS, is among the top 1% of schools worldwide. It has also achieved a position in the top 100 QS ranking. Recognizing the growing importance of cybersecurity at the executive level, Aston University launched a Cyber MBA and an MSc in Cyber Risk Management.
The Aston CSI Centre has been working closely with ISACA for several years and has now been authorized by the association to deliver a range of cybersecurity certifications, including Cybersecurity Fundamentals, AI, Data Privacy Solutions Engineer, CRISC, CISA, and CISM. Through virtual and face-to-face instructor-led training, the centre aims to provide high-quality education and help individuals achieve success in their certification exams.
As part of the collaboration, ISACA-accredited instructors at Aston University are experienced industry professionals, with backgrounds as CISOs, risk managers, and IT audit directors. Their practical knowledge and real-life examples enrich the learning experience for Aston’s MBA and MSc in Cyber students.
