ATPC Cyber Forum to Address Future Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Challenges

The upcoming event titled “The Tie that Binds: A 21st Century Cybersecurity Dialogue,” organized by the American Transaction Processors Coalition (ATPC) Cyber Council, is set to take place on October 31, 2024, at the Bank of America Financial Center Tower’s Convention Hall in Atlanta. This gathering will bring together various experts from the financial services sector, Federal agencies, the White House, and Congress to delve into critical cybersecurity issues and explore the strategies being implemented by the financial services industry to address these challenges.

The event will feature discussions on the latest technologies shaping the future, the role of AI, the importance of supply chain security, and more. H. West Richards, the executive director of ATPC, emphasized the significance of cybersecurity in the payment processing industry and highlighted the commitment of the ATPC Cyber Council to safeguarding the financial ecosystem through a collaborative approach.

The forum will showcase a lineup of esteemed speakers and panelists, including The Honorable Harry Coker, Jr., White House National Cyber Director, Rich McCormick (R-GA-06), Moira Bergin, Subcommittee on Cybersecurity Staff Director, House Committee on Homeland Security, and Barry McCarthy, CEO of Deluxe, among others. These key figures will address a range of topics such as legislative priorities, global cybersecurity risks, private sector best practices, the role of AI in financial services, and cyber education.

Moreover, the event will include insightful discussions on the future cybersecurity trends and critical technology priorities for the ATPC Cyber Council, with a special focus on 2025.
