A significant portion of this investment, about 67% of the estimated $227 billion spend for 2025, is expected to go towards business integrations involving AI agents. This surpasses investments in cloud and digital service providers for the first time. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff highlighted the benefits of deploying an Agentic AI suite during a speech at Davos 2025, emphasizing how it has helped him optimize resource allocation within the company.
