Centripetal Expands CleanINTERNET® Technology to the Cloud for Enhanced Protection – IT Security Guru

Centripetal, a cybersecurity firm with patented development and IP innovation, recently launched its new CleanINTERNET® CLOUD – a public cloud infrastructure that can protect enterprise assets on premises and remotely. In doing so, the cybersecurity firm leverages dynamic threat intelligence from over 250 threat intelligence providers in real-time to proactively shield networks from 99% of known threats in public clouds. Their expansion aims to extend protection to enterprise assets, whether on premises, remote, or otherwise in the cloud.

With companies transferring key resources to the cloud, there is a significant value to be gained. Public cloud infrastructure allows for tremendous deployment flexibility and the potential to scale applications rapidly. However, as infrastructure migrates into the cloud, enterprises need to be aware of the increased security risks that arise due to a larger attack surface. Any server deployed in the cloud is at risk of becoming targeted by hackers. A recent study found that 81% of organisations experienced a cloud-related security incident in 2022.

Jonathan Rogers, chief operating officer at Centripetal, said, “Today’s global cyberthreat landscape is constantly evolving and becoming more sophisticated, requiring a more proactive and adaptable approach to cybersecurity. Collectively, we have the power and the responsibility to build a secure digital world, and it begins with neutralising the ever-present and constantly evolving cyberthreats”.

Centripetal’s new CleanINTERNET® CLOUD infrastructure is currently available on Amazon Web Services, with a plan to include Microsoft Azure and the Google Cloud Platform by the end of 2023.

Furthermore, Centripetal also unveiled its new European Cyber Intelligence Centre of Excellence, which is located in Galway, Ireland. This move marks their international expansion, and it’s a place where new and existing customers can work with the company to gain insight on the current European and global threat landscape and how they might be affected.

“Crucial for our worldwide customers is to be protected in any environment to safeguard their valuable data and assets,” added Rogers.

With its patented development and IP innovation, Centripetal is expanding its reach for cybersecurity in the cloud. Its CleanINTERNET® CLOUD infrastructure is a promising solution to the growing security risks in the public cloud, providing a proactive and adaptable approach to cybersecurity to protect enterprise assets.
