Cisco has announced a suite of AI-driven features aimed at bolstering its Security Cloud and Webex collaboration services. The new technology, which is based on generative AI covering large language models, will be incorporated in the coming months, and will allow administrators to describe specific security policies. Using natural language interfaces, Cisco’s AI will then determine how to best implement them. The AI will also aid in contextualising specific security events, relaying their impact and prompting security operation centre analysts to take particular actions. The company is also planning on rolling out generative AI features for its Networking Cloud in the near future.
