In 2024, cybersecurity risks for individuals took a significant turn as new variations of established techniques like spear-phishing and the utilization of AI-based tools made deceptions more challenging to detect. To protect themselves in 2025, individuals are advised to stay informed about the latest scams, educate themselves on spotting suspicious emails and messages, and utilize password management tools like Panda Dome Passwords to create and manage strong passwords for each account. It is also crucial to keep software updated regularly, including hardware, applications, and smart home devices, as manufacturers release security patches and updates to address vulnerabilities.

Moreover, individuals are encouraged to secure their networks by avoiding open public Wi-Fi for sensitive transactions and utilizing tools like Panda VPN to encrypt traffic and prevent unauthorized access by hackers.
