CyberLink introduces FaceMe Security version 7.15

CyberLink recently unveiled the latest version of FaceMe Security, a comprehensive security and access control solution that utilizes AI facial recognition for identity verification, attendance management, and access control, with real-time monitoring and alerts. This advanced system is now integrated with major video management systems (VMS), enhancing its ability to identify and locate individuals quickly through facial recognition technology.

One of the key new features of FaceMe Security is the Notification Monitor add-on, specifically developed for security teams to improve productivity. This feature provides security guards with instant alerts and notifications when a blocklisted individual is detected by FaceMe Security. The Notification Monitor displays updated information including camera location, name, and live image, enabling security personnel to quickly locate the individual from a distance of 10 feet (3 meters) away. With accurate facial recognition detection and live alert notifications, the Notification Monitor empowers security teams to be proactive in preventing incidents, making it an ideal tool for security teams in various industries such as retail, casinos, and commercial properties.

Mei Guu, President of CyberLink Business Unit 2, emphasized the importance of utilizing facial recognition technology effectively in security measures. According to Guu, it is crucial to not only identify intruders but also to take timely action based on that information. The active notification features of the Notification Monitor enable security teams to catch individuals in the act or even prevent incidents from occurring, further enhancing the security capabilities of FaceMe Security.

In addition to the Notification Monitor, FaceMe Security Version 7.15 introduces new features to the CyberLink U Messenger communication app integration. Users can now set specific alert parameters, such as selecting specific cameras or times of day for notifications. These alert notifications can also be directed to different U Messenger chat groups, allowing for customized communication within different teams or departments.

Furthermore, Version 7.15 includes updates to improve user experience, such as support for more edge devices in FaceMe Security Terminal Add-Ons. Users can now configure precision levels for people groups and enrolled individuals, enabling customized thresholds for specific environments to reduce false alarms or enhance recognition accuracy. Additionally, support for Axis Camera Station 5 and Axis Camera Station Pro has been added to further enhance compatibility with different video management systems.

Overall, the latest release of FaceMe Security from CyberLink offers a comprehensive and advanced security solution that leverages AI facial recognition technology to enhance identity verification, attendance management, and access control. With the innovative features and updates introduced in Version 7.15, security teams can improve productivity, proactively prevent incidents, and effectively communicate within their organizations for enhanced security measures.
