International Cyber Expo Unveils Shortlist for 2026 Innovation Awards Highlighting Cybersecurity Technologies

The International Cyber Expo has announced the esteemed list of ten finalists nominated for its 2026 Innovation Awards & Trail. A notable feature of this year’s shortlist is the strong presence of state-of-the-art cybersecurity technologies, meticulously selected by an independent judging panel composed of industry experts. This awards program is set to honor pioneering advancements in cybersecurity that address the myriad challenges faced in today’s digital landscape.

Making its debut at the International Cyber Expo, following an impressive run at the International Security Expo, the Innovation Awards & Trail aims to showcase groundbreaking technologies meeting some of the most critical cyber and security issues faced globally. This event will culminate in the announcement of the winner on Tuesday, September 29, during the Networking Drinks Reception, scheduled to start at approximately 5:15 PM.

Leading the Pack: Cybersecurity Products

Among the finalists is Reliance Cyber with its innovative RADAR platform. This agentic security operations platform uniquely integrates Detection-as-Code, artificial intelligence agents, and human security analysts within a managed service framework. Such an approach epitomizes the blend of human expertise and technological sophistication that is crucial in modern threat responses.

Adding to the cybersecurity representation, Cairnlytics stands out with its Cairn Index platform. This cutting-edge technology focuses on analyzing open-source software dependencies and the historical development of software. By doing so, it assists organizations in identifying concentration risks and potential vulnerabilities within their software ecosystems, which is vital in an era where software supply chains are becoming increasingly complex.

Another important contender is Strand Intelligence, which brings forth its Digital Forensics and Incident Response automation platform. This technology is designed to automate the crucial processes of collecting, correlating, and analyzing forensic evidence across various environments, including cloud services, endpoints, and networks. Collectively, these three innovations exemplify the diverse areas of cybersecurity innovation currently being emphasized, spotlighting advancements in AI-assisted security operations, enhancing software supply chain surveillance, and expediting incident responses.

The Central Role of AI in Innovation

A unifying thread throughout the finalist lineup is the pronounced role of artificial intelligence in many of the shortlisted solutions. For instance, Fivecast introduced its OPENSCREEN, an AI-driven due diligence platform that merges traditional screening methods with contemporary online intelligence capabilities, effectively unearthing hidden risks that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Moreover, Riskaware introduces its HAITTON platform, utilizing AI to sift through narratives on social media and across wider information spaces, while Securium’s Discover focuses on harmful online content. This solution employs AI to identify and monitor problematic material in an impressive array of 42 languages.

Audax Global Solutions and Nijta have crafted a technology centered on safeguarding privacy within body-worn video. This significant innovation produces a disclosure-ready copy while concurrently protecting the biometric identities of non-consenting individuals, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations while upholding justice and transparency.

Diverse Innovations Beyond Cybersecurity

The remaining finalists succinctly illustrate the vast expanse of security innovations being recognized during this year’s awards. D-Fend Solutions features its EnforceAir PLUS system, which melds RF-cyber detection with radar technology and optional RF-effector jamming, effectively countering drone threats. In a similar vein, Sentrycs presents its Cyber-over-RF C-UAS system, which can detect, trace, and identify unauthorized drones, along with providing precise mitigation capabilities.

Completing this impressive shortlist is SafePAS Drug Hunter, a portable technology specifically engineered to identify and quantify drugs from oral fluid samples. This development emphasizes the extensive applications of technological innovation not only in cybersecurity but also in public safety and health, reflecting the awards’ commitment to diverse security challenges.

Engaging with Innovations at the Expo

Visitors to the International Cyber Expo will have the unique opportunity to discover the shortlisted technologies firsthand through the Innovation Trail featured at the show. The finalists were meticulously chosen by a panel of judges composed of esteemed professionals from notable organizations, including the UK Home Office, ADS Group, London Fire Brigade, and the Cabinet Office’s UK Resilience Academy.

With a robust emphasis on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital investigation technologies, the finalist selection offers a glimpse of the ongoing evolution in security innovation. As global organizations tirelessly seek enhanced methods for threat detection, incident investigation, and risk management, these pioneering products stand as beacons of progress in a complex and ever-evolving digital frontier.
