BOSTON— Morphisec, a leading endpoint security system (MTD), has announced the appointment of Ron Reinfeld as its new CEO. Reinfeld, who previously served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer, will now take over the reins from Ronen Yehoshua, who has been the CEO for the past nine years.
Before joining Morphisec, Reinfeld had an impressive career as CFO at IntSights (acquired by Rapid7) and Zooz (acquired by PayU). He also held various financial and operations roles at Cloudshare, Clarizen, and Ernst & Young, in addition to advising several early-stage tech startups.
“In the last two years, the company has made significant advancements both in technology and sales, and we are committed to setting ambitious goals to drive growth and profitability in global markets,” said Reinfeld. “I am honored and excited to take on this new role. Ronen and I will work closely with the exceptional employees at the company who embody high professional standards and values.”
Looking ahead to 2024, Morphisec is poised for a positive transformation that could elevate its value and market position. This strategic shift is fueled by concrete plans focusing on continued growth, enhanced efficiency, successful product launches such as the Anti-Ransomware solution, and a sharper strategic focus on business development. Achieving these objectives will require the entire team to elevate their performance.
Morphisec’s prevention-first software is designed to halt ransomware and other advanced cyber attacks from endpoints to the cloud. With over 7,000 customers and 9 million endpoints protected worldwide, the company has established itself as a leader in cybersecurity.
Ronen Yehoshua, who will now serve as the President of Morphisc, expressed his satisfaction with his tenure as CEO, emphasizing the company’s commitment to innovation and groundbreaking solutions. He is confident that Reinfeld will lead Morphisec to further growth and success, and he looks forward to continuing to work with him to guide the company forward.
Yoav Tzruya, JVP General Partner and board member at Morphisec, commended Yehoshua for his leadership in transforming Morphisec from an academic concept to a thriving growth-stage startup. He praised Morphisec’s disruptive approach to safeguarding enterprises globally and expressed confidence in Reinfeld’s ability to steer the company to new heights with support from the management team and Yehoshua.
In conclusion, Morphisec’s leadership transition signals a new chapter for the company as it embarks on a journey of continued innovation, growth, and success in the cybersecurity landscape. With Reinfeld at the helm and the continued support of Yehoshua and the board, Morphisec is poised to achieve even greater milestones in the future.
