Analysts successfully detected an intrusion attempt executed through stolen credentials sourced from criminal online forums. They proceeded to investigate the infrastructures employed by the threat actors and efficiently contained the attack at a specified endpoint. India is currently grappling with escalating cybersecurity challenges, as evidenced by the staggering number of 2.8 million reported cybercrime incidents in 2025—a 24% increase compared to the preceding year. In support of these statistics, the government’s cybercrime helpline received a staggering 32.4 million calls, indicating widespread concerns about cyber threats.
