Duality Technologies, a leading provider of secure data collaboration solutions, has announced its membership in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN). This collaboration allows Duality to launch its secure data collaboration platform in the AWS Marketplace, providing AWS users with a secure and efficient way to collaborate on sensitive data.
To ensure the enterprise readiness of its platform, Duality Technologies underwent the comprehensive AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR). This certification confirms that the platform meets the necessary security and privacy requirements, making it a reliable solution for AWS users.
With its inclusion in the APN, Duality Technologies enables AWS users to collaborate on data without the need for direct access to the raw data. This feature aligns with privacy regulations and allows organizations to unlock additional data sources that were previously inaccessible. The platform also offers protection for intellectual property (IP) and ensures the security and privacy of protected health or personally identifiable information (PII/PHI) used for training and model personalization in artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) models.
Adi Hirschstein, VP of Product at Duality Technologies, stated, “Duality’s inclusion in the APN and its availability in AWS Marketplace means AWS customers can more easily collaborate on data science projects utilizing sensitive and regulated data across their business ecosystem from a single location within AWS.” He added, “This adds privacy and security guardrails required by various regulated industries and organizations to leverage AWS services like AWS Nitro Enclaves and Amazon SageMaker. Not only that, but AWS customers will find that by making it easier to work with sensitive data, these integrations will accelerate data-driven innovations and growth strategies.”
Duality’s secure data collaboration platform utilizes Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) to enable users to derive value from collaborative data science and AI projects while minimizing risk. The platform allows organizations to securely share, analyze, and enrich sensitive data, ensuring compliance with data protection and industry regulations. Throughout the entire data science lifecycle, the raw data remains encrypted, reducing the risk of exposure.
To facilitate seamless integration with AWS services, Duality has integrated with both Amazon SageMaker and AWS Nitro Enclaves. This integration expands the privacy-enhancing capabilities of Duality’s platform, enabling organizations to collaborate on any data type with any type of model. The integration with Amazon SageMaker also provides companies with access to AWS model outputs using data that would otherwise be restricted due to IP/PII/PHI in the dataset.
Prof. Kurt Rohloff, CTO of Duality, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “As an unequivocal global leader in making privacy technology real and practical, we’re thrilled to bring the power of secure data collaboration to AWS. Combining Duality and AWS allows data-first organizations to securely apply data science and machine learning on sensitive data, further breaking down silos that exist within and between organizations.”
By joining forces with AWS, Duality Technologies aims to revolutionize the way organizations collaborate on sensitive data. Their secure data collaboration platform ensures the privacy and security of the data throughout the entire process, enabling organizations to make data-driven decisions while complying with privacy regulations and industry standards. With the availability of the platform in the AWS Marketplace, AWS users can easily access and leverage Duality’s innovative solution, accelerating their data-driven innovations and growth strategies.
