Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) was recently the target of a cyberattack, causing the institution to take swift action by suspending all lectures and educational activities. The cyberattack resulted in the shutdown of the university’s computer network as a precautionary measure. This development is of significant concern due to the university’s close partnership with ASML Holding NV, a prominent chip-making giant whose global headquarters are just five miles away from the university.
