Bastille Networks, Inc., a provider of wireless threat intelligence technology, has recently secured a Series C investment round of $44 million. This investment is led by a new investor, Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (Goldman Sachs), and includes participation from existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners. The additional capital raised will be used to support the company’s high growth and expansion into new markets.

Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Asset Management focuses on investing in high-growth businesses with strong market positions and durable business models. As part of this investment, Zartasha Chaudhry of Goldman Sachs will join Bastille’s Board of Directors to provide advice on the company’s next stage of growth.

Bastille Networks offers commercial customers the ability to detect every wireless device within a facility, monitor the behavior of each device, and evaluate that traffic for potential threats. This technology gives security teams insight into the locations of all devices violating their security policies. One of the key features of Bastille’s technology is its ability to seamlessly integrate with a customer’s existing security systems and procedures.

Chris Risley, CEO of Bastille, expressed enthusiasm about the investment, attributing it to the strength of Bastille’s products and the shared vision between the company and Goldman Sachs. Risley highlighted the significant growth Bastille has experienced, tripling its Annual Recurring Revenue over the past year and being on track to double it again this year.

According to Zartasha Chaudhry, Vice President in Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Bastille has transformed the wireless threat detection space by building an advanced, multi-tiered platform providing real-time, continuous wireless threat intelligence. Chaudhry believes that as wireless threats become increasingly sophisticated, Bastille is well-positioned to meet the needs of customers across the enterprise and federal sectors.

Bastille Networks, a leader in enterprise wireless threat intelligence through software-defined radio, provides full visibility into the known and unknown mobile, wireless, and Internet of Things devices inside an enterprise’s corporate airspace. Through its patented software-defined radio and machine learning technology, Bastille gathers and analyzes threats, providing security teams with the ability to accurately quantify risk and mitigate airborne threats that could pose a danger to network infrastructure.

Additionally, the investment round will allow Bastille to enhance its offering and capitalize on the growth opportunities in the wireless threat detection market. It will also further strengthen the company’s position as a key player in addressing cybersecurity challenges in a hyper-connected world.

Goldman Sachs, as one of the leading investors in alternatives globally, brings deep expertise in partnering with growth-stage companies and providing them with the necessary resources to scale and expand their businesses. The investment from Goldman Sachs reflects the firm’s confidence in Bastille’s innovative approach to wireless threat intelligence and its potential for continued success in the market.

In conclusion, the Series C investment round signals a significant milestone for Bastille Networks, reinforcing its leadership position in wireless threat intelligence technology. With the backing of Goldman Sachs, Bastille is poised to accelerate its growth, expand its market presence, and continue delivering advanced solutions that address the evolving complexities of wireless security threats.
