Forescout Amplifies Global Partner Investment to Enhance Cybersecurity Ecosystem
Forescout Technologies, a leader in cybersecurity, has recently announced a significant expansion of its investment in its global partner ecosystem, aimed at bolstering technical capabilities and aiding partners in navigating increasingly complex environments that encompass Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), the Internet of Things (IoT), and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to supporting its partners in addressing the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
With nearly all of Forescout’s customer business being transacted through its partners, the channel has become a pivotal element of the company’s growth strategy. The latest investment includes the ongoing Mission: Possible enablement roadshow, alongside sustained support for several partners within its Envision Partner Program. These initiatives collectively aim to empower partners with the necessary skills and resources to tackle emerging risks and enhance customer success.
Mission: Possible Reaches Global Audience
Launched in May, the Mission: Possible initiative is touted as Forescout’s most extensive channel engagement investment to date. This ambitious program aims to reach 90 cities spanning over 40 countries, with content made available in 22 languages to accommodate a global audience. Since its inception, more than 1,300 individuals have participated in events associated with the initiative. Forescout anticipates that the number of engaged partner professionals will exceed 2,000 by the end of September.
The program is meticulously designed to deliver technical education, facilitate hands-on discussions, and promote local engagement. By equipping partners with the expertise necessary to address emerging risks—particularly those associated with advanced artificial intelligence and intricate cyber-physical environments—Forescout aims to enhance their ability to serve customers effectively.
Advancements Within the Envision Program
Forescout has also celebrated notable achievements among its partners who are advancing through the ranks of its Envision Partner Program. Several organizations, such as TIC Defense, have upgraded their status from Authorized Training Partner to Silver Reseller. Meanwhile, Trace3, Upstart Cyber, and Sidif have elevated their standing from Silver to Gold Reseller status.
In a further testament to the strength of its partnerships, NTT Australia, Hitachi Sunway Information Systems Malaysia, DOR Information Technologies in Israel, and Computacenter Germany have successfully transitioned from Gold to Platinum Reseller status. This upward progression not only highlights the partners’ ongoing commitment to excellence but also reinforces Forescout’s dedication to ensuring that they meet evolving customer expectations.
David Creed, Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales at Forescout, emphasized the company’s objectives to elevate standards regarding technical expertise, certifications, customer success, and overall business performance. "We take pride in recognizing those partners who have shown a remarkable commitment to enhancing customer success, demonstrating technical proficiency, and fostering business growth. Their efforts have significantly contributed to the reduction of cyber risks across converged IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT environments," Creed stated.
Milo Sanchez, Senior Practice Director at Trace3, echoed this sentiment, sharing how Forescout’s technical investments and collaborative strategies have greatly enhanced their capacity to support clients and expand their partnership.
The Growing Importance of Channel Expertise
Forescout’s initiative reflects a broader trend in which partners are increasingly playing a crucial role in combating cyber threats and improving visibility across interconnected environments. According to the company’s findings, organizations leveraging Forescout’s technology have reported a staggering 50% increase in the detection of unknown IoT devices. Furthermore, the median time to contain breaches has plummeted by an impressive 98.7%, while the average duration required to identify unmanaged and unauthorized assets has been reduced drastically—from 41 hours to merely six minutes.
In addition to these operational improvements, Forescout’s channel program has garnered significant industry recognition. The Envision Partner Program has been featured in CRN’s Partner Program Guide, and numerous Forescout executives have been acknowledged in CRN’s Channel Chiefs and Channel Leaders EMEA lists. This recognition underscores not only the company’s commitment to innovation and partnership but also its standing within a competitive landscape.
As Forescout moves forward, its continued investment in partners and resources aims to enhance the cybersecurity posture of organizations globally, fostering a collaborative approach to managing the ever-evolving challenges in the digital realm. The results reflect a robust synergy between cybersecurity technology and partner capabilities that is essential for navigating today’s complex threat landscape.
