Huntress Expands Partnership with Ingram Micro Across Canada and Latin America

Strengthening Cybersecurity Across the Americas

Cybersecurity firm Huntress has significantly broadened its distribution partnership with Ingram Micro, marking a notable expansion into Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean. This strategic move aims to enhance Huntress’s channel presence throughout the Americas, thereby facilitating easier access to its cybersecurity services for managed service providers (MSPs) and value-added resellers (VARs).

Having built upon an existing relationship within the United States, this expanded agreement allows Huntress to consolidate its distribution into a single route across these regions. This streamlined approach is expected to ease the process for MSPs and VARs when sourcing and delivering the company’s services, thus enhancing operational efficiency.

Huntress’s international growth trajectory is underscored by increased investments in its channel operations, not only in the Americas but also in Europe, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. This comprehensive expansion reflects the rising global need for robust cybersecurity solutions.

Simplifying Cybersecurity Distribution Across the Americas

By extending its partnership with Ingram Micro, Huntress seeks to reduce the complexities often associated with navigating various markets. This collaboration leverages Ingram Micro’s established local infrastructure and deep partner relationships, thereby creating a more accessible pathway for MSPs and resellers to obtain Huntress’s offerings.

Kevin Hallmark, Head of Global Distribution at Huntress, emphasized that the partnership would significantly aid the company in reaching a broader audience through its channel partners. He articulated a vision that places partners at the center of Huntress’s mission to enhance business protection against cybercrime. Hallmark stated, “Expanding our relationship with Ingram Micro across the Americas gives more partners a simple, familiar path to Huntress. With coverage across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America through a single distributor, we can move faster to deliver stronger security to the businesses targeted by cybercrime.”

New Opportunities for Canadian MSPs

The expanded agreement specifically benefits MSPs and VARs in Canada, offering a chance to tap into Huntress’s cybersecurity solutions through Ingram Micro’s established distribution network. This partnership is geared towards helping Canadian partners bolster their cybersecurity offerings while minimizing operational complexities.

Alistair Edmondson, Director of Advanced Solutions at Ingram Micro Canada, noted that the inclusion of Huntress will particularly support partners aiming to enhance their managed security services. He articulated the needs of Canadian partners who are seeking security solutions that fortify their protective measures without complicating their operational frameworks. Bringing Huntress on board into Ingram Micro’s cybersecurity portfolio is expected to empower partners to offer scalable managed security services.

Addressing Growth Challenges in Latin America

The new agreement also extends Huntress’s influence in Latin America and the Caribbean, regions where varying legal and regulatory landscapes often pose challenges to expansion. By utilizing Ingram Micro’s export division, Huntress can collaborate with a unified distribution partner instead of navigating multiple agreements in diverse countries.

Daniela Rosa, Vice President and Country Chief Executive for Latin America at Ingram Micro, highlighted that this expansion will enable partners to access essential cybersecurity technologies more seamlessly. She remarked, “Our partners in Latin America are looking for technology relationships that can scale across borders while supporting the realities of doing business locally.” The partnership is expected to empower these partners to deliver enterprise-grade cybersecurity protection to a wider customer base across the region.

Access to Huntress’s Advanced Security Platform

Under this expanded partnership, Ingram Micro’s channel partners will have the opportunity to leverage the Huntress Agentic Security Platform, supported by a 24/7 AI-centric Security Operations Centre (SOC). This platform offers comprehensive protection for endpoints, identities, logs, security posture, and employee behavior, while integrating human-led security expertise into the mix.

A notable feature of this offering is Athena, Huntress’s agentic investigation system. Athena utilizes artificial intelligence to quickly investigate suspicious activities, collaborating with security analysts to address complex threats effectively.

Currently, Huntress safeguards over 280,000 businesses worldwide, with its network of MSPs and resellers playing a crucial role in delivering managed cybersecurity services. The latest agreement fortifies the company’s distribution network across the Americas, with a clear goal of making managed security solutions more accessible to its partners and the organizations they serve.

As the cybersecurity landscape continues to evolve, the collaboration between Huntress and Ingram Micro is poised to create a substantial impact, fostering enhanced security measures across various industries throughout the Americas.
