Microsoft addresses Zero-Day vulnerabilities on CSO Online

The second vulnerability, CVE-2024-43583, involves a privilege escalation flaw that could potentially allow an attacker to gain system privileges.

CVE-2024-6197 is particularly intriguing as it allows an attacker to target a VM hypervisor. Microsoft has highlighted the possibility of bypassing the UEFI firmware on specific hardware, leading to a compromise of the hypervisor and secure kernel.
