Transdev, a global leader in transportation, has partnered with Netskope to install its secure web gateway and zero trust network access (ZTNA) solutions across its offices in multiple locations. Netskope is a leader in secure access service edge (SASE), and its technology will provide Transdev’s employees with enhanced security while they work from anywhere.

Transdev operates public transportation networks in 19 countries across five continents, and Netskope’s ZTNA and secure web gateway technologies will offer optimised data and network security for Transdev’s employees. The rollout of these technologies began in France and extended to Transdev’s teams in Germany, Canada, and Australia. Implementation of cutting-edge security measures will allow the company’s employees the flexibility to work remotely without worrying about data breaches or cyber threats.

Yann Boulet, Head of Networks and Telecoms Group at Transdev, has acknowledged Netskope’s effective security solutions that provide complete visibility and security to their teams. The use of Netskope’s technology allows the Transdev teams to identify suspicious behaviour and malicious activities in real-time and provide suitable security measures to prevent potential attacks.

Netskope’s platform offers a cloud-native solution with differentiated cloud application instances suited to cater to different categories of websites and applications. Its ZTNA solution offers zero-trust network access to private applications, providing Transdev with application-level access control based on user identity and device security posture. Additionally, Netskope’s Global NewEdge infrastructure makes them compliant with all the necessary regulations, including GDPR in France and Germany, as well as the PIPEDA in Canada.

Raphael Bousquet, Senior Vice President EMEA and LATAM at Netskope, revealed that Transdev approached them facing similar challenges that other organisations across the globe experience – using outdated technologies, increasing cloud usage, and impeding shifts in the working pattern amongst their user base. He further commented that Netskope’s unified SSE platform positively impacts user experience, making it easier for IT teams to manage network and resource allocation in addition to data and threat protection.

The collaboration of Netskope and Transdev is a significant breakthrough where they aim to better control and secure their respective data with a unified SSE platform. Netskope has built a powerful network of satisfied customers, including more than twenty-five of the Fortune 100 in the SASE market. It helps its customers reduce risks, accelerate performance, and get unrivalled visibility into any cloud, web, and private application activity.

Transdev, a globally renowned mobility operator and integrator, has been operating transportation networks worldwide for years, transporting nearly ten million passengers every day. In 2022, Transdev’s revenue reached 7.7 billion euros, and with the collaboration with Netskope, they aim to enhance their productivity and provide highly secure solutions for their employees and customers.

In conclusion, the partnership between Transdev and Netskope is set to strengthen the transportation provider’s worldwide network’s security posture, keeping their data and resources protected while ensuring user experience is positively impacted. The successful implementation of solutions across multiple locations is a testament to the efficient and intelligent security technology solutions implemented by Netskope.
