Olukoyede suggested that the best way to address this issue is by encouraging young people to pursue fulfilling careers that utilize their skills, as well as providing mentorship and close supervision to guide them toward purposeful living.
Furthermore, Nigerian cybersecurity specialist Chidiebere Ihediwa recommended the retraining of online scammers and fraudsters as information technology specialists in a recent address to the EFCC. This approach aims to redirect the skills of those involved in cybercrime to benefit the technology sector, effectively utilizing their expertise for positive and lawful purposes.
