Cyber risk management company, Outpost24, has recently appointed Allan Robertson as their new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this role, Robertson will be responsible for overseeing revenue generation and implementing a cohesive go-to-market strategy to accelerate sales and customer growth.

This appointment is part of Outpost24’s efforts to expand their leadership team and support the company’s exponential growth. They aim to develop long-term strategies that improve their current product offerings. Just a short while ago, Outpost24 also announced the appointment of Brendan Hogan as Chief Strategy Officer and Ola Burmark as CFO.

Robertson brings a wealth of experience to his new position, with a background in software sales and executive leadership roles. His main focus at Outpost24 will be to enhance the customer experience as the company continues its global expansion. Working alongside other members of the executive team, Robertson will execute corporate strategic plans with a strong emphasis on revenue growth, customer expansion, and the scaling of business operations.

Karl Thedeen, CEO of Outpost24, expressed his confidence in Robertson joining the team, stating, “Allan brings a wealth of valuable experience to Outpost24, which makes him a great addition to our expanding revenue team. His proven track record of executive management, sales leadership at significant scale, and global customer engagement make him the ideal person to spearhead Outpost24’s go-to-market strategies and revenue generation operation.”

With over two decades of experience in executive sales and customer service roles, Robertson is well-equipped for this position. Before joining Outpost24, he served as CRO at Intralinks, a leading Fintech provider of secure file sharing and collaboration technologies. Through this role, Robertson gained international experience working across North America, Europe, and Asia. He also held sales leadership positions at IBM, Acoustic (a marketing technology software firm), and Pirean (a provider of identity and access management solutions).

Commenting on his appointment, Robertson expressed his excitement about joining Outpost24 during such an impactful time in the industry. As the IT and cybersecurity landscape rapidly evolves, he believes that a unified approach to threat exposure management is crucial for improving cyber resilience. Robertson emphasized Outpost24’s unique ability to combine asset visibility, vulnerability management, pentesting-as-a-service (PTaaS), advanced threat intelligence, and identity and access management (IAM). He views this as a key differentiator in the market.

Overall, Outpost24’s appointment of Allan Robertson as CRO demonstrates their commitment to expanding their revenue team and driving growth. With his extensive experience and expertise, Robertson is expected to play a crucial role in executing the company’s strategic plans and spearheading their go-to-market strategies. As Outpost24 navigates the evolving cybersecurity landscape, they aim to provide innovative solutions that enhance cyber resilience for their customers.
