The new offering, QCyberProtect, is specifically tailored to provide coverage for losses stemming from both current and emerging cyber risks. This includes but is not limited to network security, privacy liability, IT and non-IT business interruptions, and reputational loss.

Andrew Horton, the Group CEO of QBE Insurance, emphasized the importance of strategic investments in cyber capabilities to protect clients from the increasing cyber threats they face. He highlighted the company’s dedication to offering globally consistent and practical solutions to tackle the evolving cyber risks across the globe.

QCyberProtect caters to various organizations, from mid-sized companies with outsourced IT departments to global corporations with complex IT systems. Serene Davis, QBE Global Head of Cyber, noted that the global cyber policy is backed by a team of skilled cyber experts and strategic partners to ensure top-notch coverage and service for customers navigating cybersecurity challenges.

In addition to the cyber insurance coverage, QBE is rolling out QCyberPrepare in several locations globally. QCyberPrepare serves as a cyber saferoom where customers can initiate their incident response plan in a secure platform equipped with secure messaging. This risk management tool empowers organizations to remain connected, confident, and in control before, during, and after a cyber crisis.

Currently available in multiple countries, including Australia, Hong Kong, United States, and more, QCyberProtect is set to launch in additional countries throughout the year. For more details on QCyberProtect, interested parties can visit the QBE US website for information or contact their regional underwriter to learn more about the coverage options.

This latest development from QBE North America aligns with the company’s mission to assist customers in addressing unique risks effectively, enabling them to concentrate on their future goals.
