Israeli cybersecurity company Radiflow has released the latest version of its operational technology (OT) cybersecurity platform, CIARA 4.0. The platform includes a benchmarking tool that has been developed to assist CISOs and security teams to monitor cyber risks to their operations. This latest release is built to continuously monitor changes in site topology and threats and vulnerabilities, facilitating CISOs to re-evaluate risk posture regularly. Additionally, the platform delivers actionable insights for managing and minimizing cybersecurity risks to multi-site industrial facilities.

Radiflow CEO and co-founder Ilan Barda explained that CISOs are under continuous pressure to do more with less. Data-driven CIARA 4.0 enables the delivery of the necessary insights concerning the changes in the risk posture, helping to guide users toward optimal security actions. The platform automates accurate risk analysis and provides a view of best practices of security controls, which are easier to understand and map better to the planning of security projects.

The heightened focus on OT cybersecurity has been influenced by a rise in attacks on OT environments over the past few years. These attacks are motivated by economic and geopolitical views more frequently and represent a threat to supply chain security and ultimately public safety. OT environments are complicated and challenging to secure due to their age, the long operational lifetimes of components and the need to maintain operational reliability. Furthermore, the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated digital transformation programs, resulting in more endpoint devices being interoperable with OT devices and systems.

Radiflow’s CIARA 4.0 platform provides centralized, intelligent technology that enables OT cybersecurity teams to identify vulnerabilities, stay up to date with industry standards and/or best practices, while prioritizing and evaluating mitigation efforts, slashing the investment in time and effort required to conduct secure operations.

The platform’s new benchmark tool is free-to-use and is designed to evaluate the user’s risk posture and compare it to industry status and best practices. The tool utilizes industry-specific benchmark information based on Radiflow’s experience in the sector and is enriched with CS2AI surveys. CISOs can quickly gain an overview of their cyber risk posture and gain insights to facilitate optimal security actions.

The threat landscape is constantly evolving, and security teams must remain vigilant to maintain a secure OT environment. By utilizing CIARA 4.0, security teams can benefit from a centralized, intelligent solution that provides actionable insights to ensure zero downtime. Radiflow’s latest release should be of interest to CISOs and security teams seeking to reduce investment time into securing OT environments while maintaining operational reliability.
