Rambus has unveiled its latest CryptoManager Security IP solutions, which include Root of Trust, Hub, and Core families. These offerings are designed to provide varying levels of functional integration and security, allowing customers to select the features that best suit their needs.

The CryptoManager Root of Trust offers a fully turnkey solution with a Quantum Safe boot flow. On the other hand, the CryptoManager Hub provides a mix of cryptographic building blocks for customers who are developing their own root of trust or secure processor. With support for a wide range of security functionalities and certifications, Rambus’ CryptoManager Security IP solutions are aimed at helping customers expedite the time-to-market for chips in data center, AI, and other advanced applications.

According to Matt Jones, SVP and general manager of Silicon IP at Rambus, the increasing pace of value creation in the data center driven by AI necessitates a corresponding increase in the need for protection. He emphasizes that the multi-tiered architecture of Rambus’ latest generation CryptoManager Security IP allows them to cater to a broader customer base with solutions that offer unmatched flexibility and top-notch protection for hardware and data assets.

Meanwhile, Rebellions, a company specializing in energy-efficient AI accelerators for Generative AI workloads, recognizes the critical role of security in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, authenticity, and availability of data and devices. Sunghyun Park, CEO of Rebellions, commends Rambus’ CryptoManager solutions for providing a range of options that meet their performance, security, and area requirements, enabling them to address the demands of their customer applications effectively.

The CryptoManager Security IP solutions consist of three main product categories. The CryptoManager Root of Trust products feature fully programmable security processor functionality, including multithreading and multi-host capabilities. This family represents the highest level of security integration, incorporating advanced anti-tamper and Quantum Safe protections for boot and hardware acceleration.

On the other hand, the CryptoManager Hub products are designed for customers who prefer to build their own Root of Trust or security processor. These products offer state-of-the-art cryptographic accelerators, including symmetric, asymmetric, and Quantum Safe options, as well as certified true random number generators to meet the stringent security standards across various applications.

Lastly, the CryptoManager Core products consist of symmetric cryptographic accelerators that offer unparalleled flexibility for customers developing their own Root of Trust solutions. All CryptoManager Security IP products are certified to meet various industry standards such as FIPS 140-3, SESIP, PSA, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434, making them suitable for applications in data center, automotive, government, and military sectors.

In summary, Rambus’ latest CryptoManager Security IP solutions provide customers with a comprehensive range of security features and capabilities to safeguard their valuable hardware and data assets in the evolving landscape of AI-driven data center and advanced applications. With a focus on flexibility, performance, and top-tier security, these solutions are poised to cater to a wide spectrum of customer requirements across different industries.
