The RSAC Conference is set to showcase innovation and cutting-edge technology in the field of cybersecurity, with the event’s Innovation Sandbox celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The conference, scheduled for April 28 to May 1 in San Francisco, will bring together thousands of cybersecurity professionals with the goal of finding new and innovative ways to defend enterprises.

One of the highlights of this year’s event is the Innovation Sandbox, where leading-edge projects will have the opportunity to receive $5 million in investment funding from Crosspoint Capital Partners. This year’s theme, “Many Voices, One Community,” reflects the diverse range of participants and ideas that will be featured at the conference.

Linda Gray Martin, chief of staff and senior vice president at RSAC Conference, expressed excitement about the upcoming event, stating, “The top 10 finalists are going to be receiving founder-friendly financing to help them further accelerate innovation. So, it’s a massive year for this contest.”

In addition to the Innovation Sandbox, the conference will also include capture-the-flag contests and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s AI Cyber Challenge exhibit. Attendees can participate in an immersive journey on a train through live simulations that depict a fictional city secured by AI, providing a unique and interactive experience.

With 29 separate tracks to choose from, RSAC offers a diverse range of sessions and learning opportunities for conference attendees. Mainstay sessions such as the Cryptographers Panel and Security Foundations will be featured, providing foundational understanding in areas such as generative AI, identity, and application security.

Britta Glade, senior vice president of content and communities at RSAC Conference, highlighted the conference’s focus on educational engagement for the cybersecurity community. She emphasized the importance of providing quality learning experiences for attendees, working with global experts to develop engaging content.

The conference will also feature notable guest speakers, including actor and director Ron Howard, NBA Hall of Famer Magic Johnson, and award-winning actor, singer, and comedian Jamie Foxx. These speakers, along with a lineup of industry experts and thought leaders, will contribute to the diverse and engaging program at this year’s RSAC Conference.

Overall, the RSAC Conference promises to be a must-attend event for cybersecurity professionals looking to stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations. With a focus on innovation, education, and community, the conference aims to provide attendees with a valuable and enriching experience that will help them enhance their cybersecurity knowledge and skills.
