The year 2026 marks a significant milestone for the RSAC Conference as it celebrates its 35th anniversary. What began in 1991 as a single panel featuring just 50 cryptographers has transformed into a major gathering, attracting over 43,000 attendees in recent years. This year’s festivities will unfold from March 23 to 26, with a closing celebration highlighting the achievements of the conference, including a special performance by Australian actor Hugh Jackman. The event intends to honor not only its roots but also the broader global cybersecurity community.

The conference organizers have embraced the theme “Power of Community,” which emphasizes the importance of collaboration across various sectors and geographical boundaries. Linda Gray Martin, the chief of staff and senior vice president at RSAC, quoted an African proverb to convey this ethos: “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” This philosophy forms the backbone of the conference, encouraging attendees to unite in their quest for security solutions.

This year, RSAC introduces a new feature called the Connection Hub, located in Moscone West. This dedicated space is intended for All Access Pass holders to connect with peers, share innovative ideas, and delve into a special exhibit celebrating the conference’s 35-year journey. A comprehensive programming agenda has been curated, covering pressing topics such as agentic artificial intelligence, effective incident response, and guidelines for responsible disclosure. Additionally, attendees can look forward to two prominent keynote stages, 29 thematic tracks, engaging learning labs, and interactive villages designed to enrich the cybersecurity experience.

Despite the absence of U.S. federal agencies from this year’s involvement, the agenda remains robust with international security leaders slated to speak. Notable figures include Richard Horne, CEO of the U.K. National Cyber Security Centre; Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, head of cybersecurity for the United Arab Emirates Government; and Despina Spanou, principal adviser for cybersecurity coordination at the European Commission. Their collective insights will provide valuable global perspectives on cybersecurity issues.

Britta Glade, senior vice president for content and communities at RSAC, expressed confidence in the quality of content being offered at this year’s conference. She stated, “I don’t hesitate to say this will be the best content ever for the global community that we serve, and we’ve got great public, private collaboration in delivering that content.” This emphasizes the conference’s commitment to fostering meaningful discussions and knowledge exchange among cybersecurity professionals.
