This expansion includes the addition of five new management regions: Australia, Brazil, India, Japan, and Canada. The availability of Sophos DNS Protection in these new regions is part of a broader effort to make a range of Sophos Central products accessible to customers around the world. Along with DNS Protection, other products such as ZTNA, Sophos Switch, and the AP6 Wireless line have also seen similar regional expansions. For customers managing Sophos Firewalls in the newly supported regions, the addition of Sophos DNS Protection to their accounts is now a seamless process. Customers with Sophos Firewalls that include Xstream Protection will automatically have DNS Protection included at no additional cost. This integration allows for a more streamlined management experience, with DNS Protection now accessible from all Sophos Central locations.

One of the key benefits of Sophos DNS Protection is its global network of DNS resolver points-of-presence (POPs), which ensures optimal performance by directing DNS traffic to the nearest location using unicast routing technology. This latest release extends the management capabilities of DNS Protection to all Sophos Central regions, further enhancing the overall user experience.

To help customers get started with Sophos DNS Protection, the company has provided online documentation and video resources. Customers who are already using Sophos Firewall with Xstream Protection can easily activate DNS Protection for free through the online resources available on the Sophos website.
