Ukrainian investment firm Roosh Ventures has recently made a strategic investment in the French freelance platform Jump, marking an exciting development in the world of digital entrepreneurship. The news was officially announced by tech entrepreneur and Roosh co-founder Serhiy Tokarev on his LinkedIn page, where he expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: “Thrilled to announce that Roosh Ventures is backing Jump, a platform that’s changing the game for freelancers.”

Jump, the innovative freelance platform in question, is on a mission to simplify and enhance the freelance experience by providing freelancers with benefits and guarantees typically only available to traditional employees. This includes access to social security, corporate health insurance, savings programs, and other essential tools for financial stability and security.

One of the key features of the Jump platform is its seamless management of accounting and payroll, relieving freelancers of these administrative burdens and allowing them to focus on their core skills and expertise. Contracts with Jump also offer additional perks such as income stability, access to credit, medical insurance services, and various benefits to support freelancers in their daily work.

According to Serhiy Tokarev, “Jump handles all the tough stuff — payroll, accounting, benefits — so freelancers can focus on what they do best. It’s a complete solution, and that’s why we’re excited to be part of their journey. With Breega, Index Ventures, Raise Ventures, and Roosh Ventures on board, Jump is set to scale beyond France and help freelancers worldwide. Big things ahead, and we couldn’t be more excited to support them!”

While the exact amount of Roosh’s investment remains undisclosed, Jump successfully raised €11 million in a Series A funding round, highlighting the confidence and support the platform has garnered from investors. Looking ahead, Jump aims to double its team size by the end of the year to further promote the platform among millennials and Gen Z users, with plans to expand its presence across France, the UK, and Europe as a whole.

Founded in 2021 by Nicolas Fayon, Thibault Coulon, and Maxime Bouchet, Jump has already made significant strides in the industry, raising €4 million in its first year and attracting nearly 2,000 freelancers to the platform. With an impressive annual turnover of €150 million, Jump is well-positioned for continued growth and success in the freelance market.

Roosh Ventures, known for its innovative approach to investing in tech startups, focuses on profitability in sectors such as AI/ML, Gaming, Fintech, Consumer & Entertainment Apps, Marketing & AdTech, and more. With a strategic presence in Kyiv, Paris, and London, Roosh Ventures has already invested in over 40 startups, including notable companies like Deel, TheGuarantors, Oura, and many others.

In conclusion, the partnership between Roosh Ventures and Jump represents a significant milestone in the evolution of the freelance industry, promising new opportunities and support for freelancers worldwide. With a strong track record of investing in successful tech startups, Roosh Ventures is well-positioned to drive growth and innovation in the digital economy for years to come.
