In the past week, several cybersecurity companies have launched new products aimed at enhancing the security and efficiency of generative AI applications. Datadog introduced LLM Observability, eSentire launched MDR for GenAI Visibility, ARMO unveiled Cloud Detection & Response, and Cofense enhanced PhishMe to identify engagement and resilience gaps across all employee levels.

Datadog’s LLM Observability is designed to secure generative AI applications by offering prompt and response clustering, seamless integration with Datadog Application Performance Monitoring (APM), and out-of-the-box evaluation and sensitive data scanning capabilities. This new product aims to enhance the performance, accuracy, and security of generative AI applications while also ensuring data privacy and security.

eSentire’s MDR for GenAI Visibility leverages security telemetry across an organization’s log and network data sources to provide daily insights into the organization’s use of GenAI technology. This solution helps organizations track the most frequently used AI applications, the users of the technology, the prompts, and the files shared, enabling better visibility and control over AI usage within the organization.

ARMO’s Cloud Detection & Response addresses residual threats that may persist during runtime, even after thorough scanning during development and deployment. This new solution builds on Kubescape’s open-source threat detection capabilities by adding observed application behavior with context from Kubernetes, cloud environment, security policies, and workload characteristics. By combining these elements, ARMO aims to provide a more robust approach to cloud security and threat detection.

Cofense’s Employee Engagement Index enhances PhishMe by leveraging over a decade of curated threat intelligence data and combining it with current employee behavioral patterns. The EEI generates a continuously updated proficiency score that assesses individuals, cohorts, groups, and departments, allowing organizations to quickly pinpoint areas needing improvement and take immediate, targeted remediation efforts. This new feature aims to help organizations strengthen their overall security posture by identifying and addressing engagement and resilience gaps across all employee levels.

Overall, these new products from Datadog, eSentire, ARMO, and Cofense demonstrate the ongoing efforts within the cybersecurity industry to innovate and improve security measures in response to evolving threats and challenges. By focusing on securing generative AI applications, enhancing visibility into AI technology usage, improving cloud threat detection capabilities, and identifying engagement and resilience gaps, these companies are helping organizations enhance their cybersecurity defenses and protect against potential threats.
