Admiral Sir Tim Fraser brings with him an extensive background in the Royal Navy and UK Defense, having served for over 40 years. Throughout his career, he held various significant positions, including Vice Chief of the Defense Staff in the Ministry of Defense. Sir Tim’s expertise lies in surface warfare, as he has commanded destroyers and the aircraft carrier HMS ILLUSTRIOUS. He has also led UK and coalition maritime forces in the Middle East and served as Senior British Military Advisor in CENTCOM HQ in Tampa. Additionally, he served as the UK’s Chief of Joint Operations.
In the past two decades, Sir Tim Fraser has dedicated much of his time to Ministry of Defense appointments, focusing on programming, planning, and capability development. He played a crucial role in the 2015 and 2021 Defense and Security Reviews. Sir Tim’s contributions to the defense sector have been recognized, as he was made a Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honors List.
