Global cybersecurity company Trend Micro has announced a complete revamp of its worldwide partner program in a bid to boost business growth and provide added value to customers. The company’s CEO, Eva Chen, expressed excitement about the future achievements that the redesigned program will bring. She emphasized the importance of strategic alignment with partners to protect the digital world and outlined the joint mission to enable partners to become resilient cybersecurity companions for their customers.
The new partner program centers around the Trend Vision One™ platform, creating opportunities for partners to deliver services and assessments for both enterprise and SMB-focused partners. With the increasing risks posed by threat actors and the growing demand for cybersecurity, organizations require in-house skills to protect their data, companies, brands, industries, and governments. Partners can bridge this gap by offering crucial services such as Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), Managed Service Provider (MSP), Security Operations Center as a Service (SOCaaS), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and Incident Response.
To address the need for assessments, Trend is enhancing the ability of partners to offer Cyber Risk Assessments, as well as new additions like External Attack Surface, Cloud Posture, and Azure AD Assessments. Over 800 partners have already leveraged Cyber Risk Assessment Services to complete over 1,400 customer assessments. The company also plans to introduce more new services in the future.
Trend’s partnership with Capgemini has been instrumental in delivering unmatched security and value to customers. As the cybersecurity landscape becomes more complex, this partnership plays a key role in enabling business transformation and empowering customers to secure their organizations confidently. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into Trend and its partners’ operations has also been highlighted as a critical component in understanding threats and identifying growth opportunities for customers.
The Trend Partner Program aims to provide various benefits to channel partners, including embracing AI capabilities, increasing profitability through stacked benefits, expanding services with new technical and service competencies, co-selling and generating more leads through lead generation tools and workshops, offering immersive learning experiences through Trend Campus, and leveraging an integrated digital experience through various platforms.
With a thriving channel business comprising 147,000 profiled partners, Trend’s partner program is built on a strong foundation. More than half of the partners have participated in broader cybersecurity training in the past year, and deal registration has witnessed significant growth, especially among co-selling partners with 42% year-on-year growth in AWS CPPO partners and a 46% year-on-year increase in MSP partners selling XDR.
Cloud security is another crucial element of the partner program, as organizations rely on partners like cloudEQ to address their business challenges and accelerate digital transformation while ensuring business continuity. Trend’s partnership with cloudEQ enables customers to benefit from proactive and automated cloud security.
Trend Micro continues to evolve and grow alongside its partners, prioritizing customer protection while providing profitable opportunities for partners. With its comprehensive cybersecurity platform and a presence in over 65 countries, Trend Micro remains a global leader in cloud and enterprise cybersecurity, simplifying and securing the connected world.
