Vectra AI Launches Global, 24×7 Open MXDR Service Built to Defend Against Hybrid Attacks

Vectra AI, Inc., a leader in hybrid attack detection, investigation, and response, has recently launched a groundbreaking new service designed to defend against hybrid attacks. Known as Vectra MXDR (Managed Extended Detection and Response) services, this global 24×7 open MXDR service is the first of its kind in the industry. It is built to provide hybrid attack surface visibility across various platforms including identity, public cloud, SaaS, data center, and cloud networks, as well as endpoints through integrations with leading EDR vendors.

Traditionally, enterprises have relied on legacy threat detection and response solutions, but with the shift to hybrid and multi-cloud environments, these solutions have proven ineffective at defending against the new threat landscape. This has resulted in the need for increased coverage across the expanding hybrid attack surface. The use of multiple detection solutions has led to siloed tools and rule sprawl, which has caused an unmanageable alert volume for SOC leaders. As a result, SOC teams are spending nearly four hours daily on manual alert triage, leading to excessive workloads and burnout among SOC analysts.

In response to this growing need, Vectra AI has introduced the Vectra MXDR service, aiming to consolidate every aspect of threat detection and response in one unified service. This eliminates the need for multiple providers, while integrations with the industry’s leading EDR platforms enable Vectra AI’s MXDR analysts to monitor the health of an entire security system and take direct action, no matter where the signal comes from.
