It launches with the Agentic Detection Library, boasting over 50 skills crafted by Vega Research and its partners. It also includes a sandbox environment for crafting, testing, and deploying spec-compliant detections, as well as a GitHub platform for community contributions.

The efficacy of Detection Skills has been validated in real-world applications through Vega’s Cyber Defense Platform, which serves as the standard’s reference implementation. The platform operates seamlessly across a variety of data environments—cloud object storage, legacy SIEMs, and data lakes—without requiring data migration or incurring ingestion overhead.
