Konvu Triumphs at Infosecurity Europe Cyber Startup Competition

In a striking showcase of innovation and technological prowess, Konvu, the agentic AI triage management platform, emerged victorious at the inaugural Infosecurity Europe Cyber Startup competition. This prestigious event was held live on stage in the Cyber Startups Zone during Infosecurity Europe 2026, where Konvu captivated an audience filled with potential customers, partners, and investors.

Competing against four formidable contenders, Konvu distinguished itself with its AI-native vulnerability triage platform. The achievement marks a significant milestone for the startup, as it receives a valuable prize package. This package comprises an exhibition stand at the upcoming Infosecurity Europe 2027, public relations support facilitated by the cybersecurity-focused agency Origin Communications, and a future-brand workshop from Dusted brand consultancy.

Lucas Masson, the CEO of Konvu, expressed his elation at the outcome, emphasizing the exceptional quality of pitches presented at the competition. “I have been really impressed by the pitches here, so it means a lot that our solution resonated with the judges,” he stated, highlighting the competitiveness of the event.

The core functionality of Konvu’s platform revolves around automating the investigation of vulnerabilities. This innovative solution connects seamlessly with the various scanners that enterprises commonly use, conducting agent-driven checks across code, configurations, and optional runtime signals. Subsequently, it provides evidence-backed exploitability decisions that integrate directly into existing workflows. This seamless integration is crucial for organizations striving to enhance their cybersecurity measures.

Masson illustrated the urgency of the problem that Konvu addresses. “Frontier models like Mythos are getting very good at finding new vulnerabilities, but the same capability is in attackers’ hands, so the window between discovery and exploitation is collapsing,” he explained. This insight underscores the pivotal role of automation in cybersecurity, as the speed at which vulnerabilities are exploited increasingly quickens.

With detection capabilities shifting toward automation, the challenge now lies with enterprises that must effectively triage and remediate vulnerabilities. Masson pointed out that this is where Konvu significantly alleviates the burden on security teams, allowing them to operate at a pace that matches the speed of attackers. He emphasized that the platform is designed not just to identify vulnerabilities but to facilitate swift remediation, thus keeping organizations one step ahead of potential threats.

The judging panel, comprising industry experts, praised Konvu for its ability to inform organizations about which vulnerabilities are urgent and should be prioritized for remediation. The judges noted Konvu’s impressive product pipeline and its ambitious roadmap for expansion, both of which were critical factors in their decision. Among the judges was Shlomo Kramer, co-founder and CEO of Cato Networks, a highly esteemed figure in cybersecurity known for his role in founding influential companies such as Check Point and Palo Alto Networks. Kramer remarked on the strength of Konvu’s vision, stating, “What stood out about the award winner was the strength of their vision. They identified a compelling entry point, expanded it into a platform strategy, and addressed a genuine market problem. That’s a powerful combination, and ultimately what set them apart.”

Joining Kramer on the panel were Mun Valiji, group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Close Brothers, and Kirsty Kelly, a global CISO and seasoned advisor. Their diverse backgrounds contribute to a comprehensive evaluation of cybersecurity innovations, ensuring that only the most promising solutions are recognized.

The Infosecurity Europe Cyber Startup Programme is designed to highlight emerging cybersecurity innovators by creating a thriving ecosystem that connects startup founders with investors and other key stakeholders. This initiative not only fosters innovation but also propels the next generation of cybersecurity solutions into the limelight, which is crucial in an era where cyber threats are continually evolving.

In conclusion, Konvu’s victory at the Infosecurity Europe Cyber Startup competition is a testament to the company’s innovative approach to vulnerability triage. As cybersecurity threats become more sophisticated and rapid, solutions like Konvu’s are essential in empowering organizations to defend against potential attacks effectively. With an impressive support package and an ambitious expansion strategy, Konvu is poised to make significant contributions to the cybersecurity landscape in the years to come.
